Music & Imagery Therapist
I am a Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered Music Therapist with over 12 years of experience in helping people to explore their emotional worlds. I work with Creative Arts Therapies including shared music making, Music & Imagery Therapy, and Guided Imagery & Music. I am a member of The British Association for Music Therapy (BAMT), and an Associate member of the Association for Music & Imagery (AMI). I also hold an enhanced DBS check.
It is my belief that trust, compassion, and creativity are at the heart of the therapeutic relationship; inspiring change and unlocking potential. Sessions are tailored to individual needs and I work with a wide range of challenges including:
• Anxiety or low mood
• Significant life events
• Bereavement or other types of loss
• Emotional trauma
• Difficult relationships
• Work or educational related stress
I understand how overwhelming it can feel to begin therapy, and strive to create a warm, comfortable, and safe space in which we can explore whatever is troubling you together.
If you feel you would like to find out more about me, or Creative Arts Therapies, please arrange a free, informal 30-minute telephone consultation, or book an assessment session online.
